Old Buckenham Old Mill Road postmill had 2 pairs of patent sails that powered 2 pairs of French burr stones and a flour mill. The mill stood to the west of the Almshouses behind what later became the Primitive Methodist Chapel. Old Mill Road was later renamed as Hargham Road. |
The booklet Mills of Old Buckenham relates that the mill was built for Earsham Turner in the early 1800s. |
