Barney north postmill stood on the opposite side of the track and a few yards to the northeast of
Barney south postmill. It is not known which miller was running which of the three mills, so all names are listed below.


Bryant's map 1826: Barney mills

White's 1836: John Farrow, miller & beerhouse (possibly either or also running Barney north or Barney south)
White's 1836: Robert Frankling, miller & baker (possibly either or also running Barney north or Barney south)

Kelly's 1879: John West, miller (also possibly either or also running Barney south or Barney towermill)

White's 1883: John Atherton, miller (also possibly either or also running Barney south or Barney towermill)
White's 1883: James West, miller (also possibly either or also running Barney south or Barney towermill)
