Drainage Windpumps
Steam Mills

Thornham had a watermill and a windmill working in the 1200s.

It is unclear as to where this mill would have been as Thornham has no obvious watercourse. However, in the 1200s, Norfolk's coastline was very differerent and one of the many rivulets may well have supported a small watermill.
