Sea Palling Lambridge

Waxham New Cut

Lambridge drainage mill stood just to the southwest of Lam Bridge on Waxham Marshes along with an adjacent Mill Cottage. The 4 storey tapered tower had a Norfolk boat shaped cap with four patent sails that powered an internal scoopwheel to drain the Brograve levels into Waxham New Cut. A door was set in the northeastern side with 3 windows above it. A semi-circular opening was built into opposite sides of the tower to channel the water. The nearby Brograve_Mill also drains into the same Cut. The building is now Grade ll listed.
