Salters Lode
drainage pump

Salters Lode smock mill was built as drainage mill but later converted to a corn_mill. The mill was situated quite close to the confluence of Well Creek and the Great Ouse. The mill had a boat shaped cap and appears to be fitted with one pair of common sails and one pair of patent sails.
