Freethorpe Stone's Mill was a medium sized four storey mill that was built beside Fleet Dyke and was also known as Kerry's Mill. The mill had a red brick tarred tower used a scoop wheel to move the water up into the dyke.

When Arthur Smith visited the site in 1989, he noted that the tower had a slight lean and was open to the elements without a cap. The windshaft minus its canister remained in situ as did some machinery but without the upright shaft. Some parts of the scoop wheel were also still in place.
