A postmill was working at Wymondham in the 1100s and for a good part of its working life belonged to Wymondham Priory. |

The mill was given to Wymondham Priory by Earl William II (de Albini) before 1193 Harvesting the Air - Windmill Pioneers in Twelfth Century England, Edward J. Kealey - 1987 |
