Sutton early towermill was an early towermill, built c.1762. The mill used common sails to power 3 pairs of stones. A horse mill was also operated on the site.

At SUTTON near INGHAM in Norfolk.
A New-built Brick Tower Windmill and a Dwelling House and three Roods of Land, all Freehold. It is a very good accustomed Mill, without any carriage and very well situated either for a Miller or Baker to bake his own Goods.

At the Sign of the Swan in Stalham, Norfolk.
All that capital Brick TOWER WINDMILL with Three Pair of Stones, Brick Granary and Horse Mill.
Also a Dwelling house and three Rood, more or less, of Freehold Land, situated in the Parish of Sutton near Stalham, all in the occupation of Samuel Smith.
The above Premises are
well situated for a large Trade being near the Navigation to Yarmouth, are in excellent Repair and may be entered upon immediately.
Apply to James Smith, Stalham.
All Persons having any Demands on the Estate of Samuel Smith are desired to deliver the same immediately, that they may be discharged.
