Sedgeford post windmill was an open trestle mill with a tailpole that stood on the Fring Road leading to Peddars Way and was working in the 1500s.

C. H. Lewton Brain of Kings Lynn wrote to Harry Apling on 7th January 1977 to say he had a photograph of the Lestrange Estates in Tudor times showing a mill along the Sedgeford to Fring Road adjoining Peddars Way.
