Horsford postmill had a roundhouse and worked a single pair of stones and a flour mill.

A medieval postmill stood at Mill Piece to the West of the Dog public house.

To be Sold by Auction By S. Bond At the Dog at Horsford.
Within four miles of Norwich On Tuesday 17 November 1795 between the hours of 1 & 2.
A very capital WINDMILL, almost new, with a roundhouse & a very good flour mill within & a most excellent pair of stones, with all her going works.
