Gt Yarmouth Southtown postmill stood on the north side of the High Road near the church.


. . . we learn that on Trinity Monday, 9th June, 1798, 'The Great or Black Mill was commenced erecting on the Common'. It had been brought from Southtown, Yarmouth. The proprietor was Robert Dawson.
