Gorleston postmill had a sinlge pair of 8ft. 4ins. stones, a combination of a peak stone and a French burr stone. The sails drew eight and a half yards of sailcloth.

A New built POST-MILL with a Peak & French four Foot eight Inches Diameter, draw eight Yards and a half of Cloth, well situated in Gorleston, within a Mile of Great Yarmouth.
