Had mansion house, 178 acres land, 23 of meadows, divers woods & alder cars, two windmills etc.

Similarly, when a post-mill was needed on Forncett manor, and had to be fetched from Winfarthing (about 8 miles away), eight men, two carts and sixteen horses were needed for the job.
