Brisley post mill stood on Brisley Green, had a roundhouse and a 180 foot footprint.

In 1610, John Breame's will bequeathed various pieces of land including Wyndmill toft, to his wife Clemente.

The bricks ... were from the roundhouse under the wooden body of the mill ans I definitely remember helping top pull down the main round wooden post and using the same post as a main gate post in about 1920.
