Beechamwell postmill was recorded as standing in the 1600s.


Norwich Consistory Court Wills - 1627
Robert Rainolls of Barton Bendish, miller, bequeathed to his son W. Rainolls:-
my windemill fullye farnished as it standeth with all the things there unto belonging and one little house and an acre of arrable there unto adjoyning.
Although Robert Rainolls was recorded as miller of Barton Bendish the recorded map reference provided by A.J. Davison, places the mill in the adjacent parish of Beechamwell.
