James Fitt -1841 to 1861+

James Fitt (II) was born c.1809 in Sporle, Norfolk. In 1841 James Fitt was given as a millwright aged 30-35 living in Scott’s Yard, Ber Street, St. John Sepulchre with his wife Mary Ann (35-40), son Horace (6) and daughters Mary (3) and Susannah (1).


In 1851 he was given as an agricultural labourer aged 42 living in Short Queen Street, Heigham with his wife Mary A. (45), son Horace J. (16), Charles (8), William (3) and daughters Mary A. (13), and Jenette (7).

In 1861 he was given as a millwright aged 50 living at 15, Vauxhall Street, Heigham with his wife Ann (37) and sons William (14) and James (2).
