John Courteney to 1687
John Courteney died in 1687. A list of his chattels was appraised by Thomas Ward and Elmer Sparke.


An Inventory of the Goods and Chattells of John Courteney, millwright, of Lakenham, who died the 14th day of October 1687. [much of this heading is illegible]


His wearing apparell
In the Kitching one iorn range, two iorn chodbas, one pand iorn and Kidling iorn, two fire pans, two pairt of Ranges, one Rafting iorn and one iron fire and pand and iorn hobs
Also one Brass's Horse and iron Groots
Also one Smoothing iron and two iorn heals
Also one Stranding Knife, one Roofe fowle and grate, two iorn smoothers and one drying box and one patten candlestick and a pairt of snuffers and one Candel box and a box and a half of Hollowes
To two tables, three iron Glasses and six Chayers and one Grande Chayer
To one Dresser
Also two Brasse Candelsticks, one warming pan and one brasse Shive, one Brasse Monton and a Brasse rostol and a Brasse Spoone
Also two brasse Shillotts and one Brass Sromer and one basting Spoone
Also twelve pewter plates and six penningers and eighteen pounds of pewter fat
Also four silver spoones and a silver sall
Also in the parlour: one drawer table and Cannitt
Also eight wrought Chayers, two Coated Stooles and six coated Stooles and one ditto table
Also one iorn Leade Chedess with Endirons and tonges with one iorn and Brasse and one iorn hin
